Sika Grout®-215 is a pumpable, high performance, non-shrinking grout use in large quantity. It is non-toxic and non-corrosive admixture capable of providing high strength and no bleeding. It offers excellent flowability with good dimensional stability and adjustable consistency. Comparing to Sika Grout®-214, Sika Grout®-215 is less stiff, more flowable, and less compressive strength per millimeter squared. Sika Grout®-215 has a shelf life of about 6 to 15 month from the date of production in original, unopened package. It is used in a variety of construction such as machine foundation, rail beds columns, anchor bolts, bridge bearings, etc.
Before applying Sika Grout®-215, all surfaces must be clean, sound and free from oil, grease, cement laitance and all loosely adhering particles. During mixing, add the appropriate ratio of about 4.2 liters of water to the mixture for better flowability of the admixture. Using machine or other related mechanical devices, mix the mixture for approximately 2 to 3 minutes with slow speed setting until a smooth, even consistency is achieved. After mixing, ensure that trapped air in the grouting is allowed to escape. The grout should be poured immediately into the prepared formwork while making sure the formwork is firmly in place, watertight and sufficient pressure head is maintained for uninterrupted mortar flow.
For safety reasons, handle this product with appropriate protective equipment and respiratory equipment. Keep in the original package or compatible containers and tightly closed when not in use. In case of an accident, seek medical attention immediately. In the case of skin contact, wash contaminated skin with plenty of water. On the other hand, flush eyes with plenty of water while occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. It is advised to seek medical attention after flushing eyes and rinsing it. In addition, do not empty this product into waterways, drains, sewers and keep out of contact of soils.
