Sika AnchorFix®-1

     Sika AnchorFix®-1 is a high performance, two component, styrene-free polyester resin adhesive anchoring system with fast curing ability. It is specially designed and formulated for all grades of rebar or reinforced steel, threaded rods, bolts in uncracked concrete. It is also used on hard natural stone, solid rock and masonry. The shelf life of Sika AnchorFix®-1 is around 12 month from the date of production in unopened, original package. It is pack in a 300 milliliter standard cartridge containing 12 Sika AnchorFix®-1 per box, and 550 mililiter standard cartridge containing 12 per box.  Sika AnchorFix®-1 is advised to be stored in cool, dry and well ventilated area at a temperature of 5°c to 25°c ,away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

     Sika AnchorFix®-1 can be used at low temperature without sagging, even on overhead. It can handle large amount of load without showing sign of failure. For effective application, it is advised to use Sika AnchorFix®-1 between the temperature of 5°c to 40°c. When using Sika AnchorFix®-1 in enclosed spaces, ensure that sufficient ventilation is provided.

The curing speed of Sika AnchorFix®-1 may vary depending on the temperature of substrate, curing time may take up to 24 hours or more if the temperature is below 0°c. In addition to application, drilled anchor hole must be thoroughly cleaned, dried, and free from oil and grease etc. In addition, threaded rods and rebars must be thoroughly clear from oil, grease, dirt etc. These ensure the effectiveness of Sika AnchorFix®-1 application. Ensure that mortar and concrete is at the required strength and pull-out tests is needed to be carried out if the strength is unknown.

For safety reasons, use personal protective equipment when handling this product. Ensure that this product does not enter any water sources such as sewage system, drains, streams, etc. Do not breathe vapours or spray mist, while taking precautionary measures against static discharge. Handle this product in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. When not using, store the product in original container and keep it in well-ventilated place. The opened containers must be checked for leaks before resealing it for future use.
