Sikament NN is a highly effective dual action liquid superplasticizer and concrete admixture for production of free flowing concrete or as a substantial water-reducing agent for promoting high early and ultimate strengths. It has a minimum shelf life of 12 months
from production date if stored properly in original unopened packaging. It is use in the production of free flowing concrete such as slabs and foundations, walls, columns, piers and slender components with densely packed reinforcement. Furthermore, it can be use as a water-reducing agent in pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete, bridges and cantilever structures.
In addition to this, it provide a textured surface finish for the free-flowing concrete. Furthermore, it is use as a water-reducing agent leading to high early strength in concrete such as pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete elements, bridges and cantilever structures.
Sikament NN further improve the workability and increase placeability in slender components with packed reinforcement. In addition to applying this product, it decreases the amount of vibration and significantly reduces the risk of segregation. It provide up to 30 percent reduction of water, depending on dosage, will produce 40 percent increase in 28 days compressive strength.
Sikament NN can be added to the mixing water prior to its addition to the aggregates or as in most cases, can be added directly to the freshly mixed concrete. When added directly to the freshly mixed concrete, the plasticizing effect is more pronounced. For ready-mix
concrete, it is added to the concrete immediately prior to discharge and after further mixing has taken place for about three to five minutes.
Skament NN may be combined with other Sika product such as plastocrete series, plastiment series, SkiaFume, Sika AER, Sika Pump. It is also compatible with sulphate resistant cment. Pre-trials are recommended if combinations with products mentioned.
